NextGen EDU is a registered non-profit organization developed to meet the growing need for access to in-depth artificial intelligence learning and training programming for high-school students. With the growing importance of AI both nationally and internationally NextGen EDU is bridging the gap between AI learning and the real world.
The NextGen EDU Program features 6 modules to advance your knowledge and skills in AI.
Over three weeks, with the help of instructors and mentors, you will have the chance to develop your own AI project in a small group. Projects can be utilized in College and University admissions, or be further developed into a real AI startup.
NextGen EDU aims to not only enhance your AI knowledge and skills but also improve your presenting, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking abilities.

Receive an acceptance within 2 weeks of application. If accepted you will be invited to confirm your spot by completing the official intake form and completing payment of fees.
Program fees are $1,500 USD. Finances, however, should not be a barrier. We offer needs-based financial assistance to applicable families. Click on "Program fees & financial assistance" above to learn more.
The program was designed by postgraduate students in artificial intelligence and machine learning from top Canadian Universities.
The program is applicable to any students current in grades 10-12+ and or ages 15-18 years of age at the start of the program in September 2024.
Yes! Our program will cover topics such as networking, how to search for an find internships and how to connect with those who may be interested in having an intern. Our instructors are also available to discuss internship strategies in our 1:1 meetings.
At the end of the program, participants will receive a digital credential from NextGen EDU that is verifiable on the blockchain. This credential can be displayed on the participant's LinkedIn and passed along as proof of program completion to potential internships and future jobs.
Disco is a learning management system created specifically for running synchronous cohort-based courses. It is better than any we could have dreamed up and acts as an aid for our students and instructors in the learning process. Disco also helps with registration and payments which is why after being accepted you will be navigated to a Disco page where you can sign up for the program.
Learning about AI may not be for everyone. We want those who enroll to be excited to come to sessions and continue learning. If a student is no longer interested in the program we will first conduct a review to see where the problem stems from and what can be done to help improve the student’s experience in the program. If this is unfruitful we will then provide a 75% refund of tuition prorated for the number of sessions remaining in the program.

Financial assistance is provided to any family who meets the FA criteria based on their personal family financial situation and is accepted into the program. To apply for financial aid hit the “apply” button anywhere on the site. You will be directed to an application form where you can select that you are interested in applying for financial assistance. Yes! We are happy to accept students from all over the globe. Do keep in mind our program runs with two sessions weekly. One weeknight and one session on Saturday. These sessions are offered in eastern time.
The program is only offered in English at this time.
We get it, things get in the way. If a session is missed a session recording will be available. If any concepts from the missed session are unclear feel free to discuss them in your next 1:1 meeting.
